Our Results
What are the results of Ginefiv like?
The chances of achieveing a pregnancy through Assisted Reproduction techniques differ greatly for every couple and for every attempt carried out vary between 60% in the best cases and 5% in cases with a bad prognosis. The age of the woman, the nature of the fertility problems and the technique to be used are the three main factors that influence the results.
In our centre, through many years of experience and collaboration with other teams, we have managed to achieve pregnancy rates comparable to those of the most prestigious international centres. By way of guidance, since every case is different, it is fair to say pregnancy rates (with all types of patients included) range between 30 and 50% for "In Vitro Fertilisation" and Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection techniques, and between 15 and 30% for Artificial Insemination techniques.
Likewise, it is worth noting that the accumulated probability of becoming pregnant increases according to the number of attempts carried out. So, of every 10 couples who carry out at least 4 attempts, 8 will become pregnant.
What are our references and objectives?
Unlike other countries like the United States, France or the United Kingdom, Spain has not yet set up an official body for the collection, examination and accreditation of the results obtained by the different assisted reproduction centres in Spain, making it impossible to compare their results.
Therefore, and in order to answer this question, our team continuously refers back to the official national statistics in those countries, since we are confident that our results rank among the best international results.
